“Details, when they are successful, are not mere decoration. They do not distract or entertain. They lead to an understanding of the whole of which they are an inherent part.”
-Peter Zumthor
Breton is a licensed architect with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado - Boulder and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Colorado - Denver. He brings the unique perspective of a childhood spent in Basalt, CO in the Roaring Fork Valley, which influences his passion for simplicity, purity, minimalism, and responsiveness to context and place. In addition to his design principles, Breton believes the future of architecture lies in sustainable and energy-efficient design. Through his expertise, he aims to create buildings that not only inspire, but also minimize their impact on the environment.
