The Carlin

We worked with Destination Hospitality to rehabilitate and revive this long-forgotten space into a luxury inn, restaurant, and underground tavern — each space providing a unique experience. The main restaurant serves American coastal cuisine matched with an open and airy floor plan and light-filled interiors. The use of white oak and clean lines juxtaposed with warm and rich textures blends coastal and mountain modern styles. As you head downstairs you are met with a more casual experience and local fare. Warm tones, low-ceilings, and architectural archways provide a cavern-like feel reminiscent of Colorado’s mining past.

The restaurant on the main floor serves American coastal cuisine. We designed an open and airy floor plan for a lively dining experience. White oak, tambour, and architectural curves give a nod to coastal design.

The historic space was split into three zones, each with a unique look and feel. The underground tavern is warm, casual, and inviting giving nods to Colorado’s mining past.
